CNN: Osama Found on Senate Floor!

CNN once again shows how easy it is to confuse a Democratic senator and a terrorist.

"Where's Obama?" they asked, over a graphic of Osama bin Laden. And Wolf Blitzer apologizes.

For those CNN-watchers keeping score at home, that's two comparison of likely presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama's (D-IL) name to Saddam Hussein's, one to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and now three to Osama bin Laden's name.

I am constantly amazed at the media. How much longer will they try the same old ploy? We know what they are doing. The public is not as dumb as they would like us to be. CNN would do us all a favor by stating before each segment is aired that it is "Brought to you directly from the White House." Now that would be truth in advertising!

"The mere primary nomination of that man is a function of a national under current collective mood of racism", the construction technician stated in earnest, eager to be understood. "Democrat, Republican, doesnt make any difference", was the flip reply from the job foreman, as he then added, "I'm not even bothering to vote, and if I were you I wouldnt bother either", then turned up the radio that was set to a right-wing rage radio station recently deemed astonishingly popular to the duck blind, deer camp crowd, in effect to drowned out any further discussion of who would be the next president of the united states.

This all began with the sharp eyes, quick thinking and digital action of a diarist (and his wife) at Daily Kos. It was that post that got the ball rolling across the 'sphere, sparked the flames of indignation, and got the phones and inboxes buzzing at CNN.

I think that might be good to note.....

And Howard Dean. It was the press -- hand in hand with GOP spin doctors -- who turned Dean's post primary enthusiasm into The Scream that doomed his campaign

The fact of the matter is that these news organizations, for the most part, are just too ignorant about the substance of the news they cover to know the difference! Viva la blogosphere!!

CNN can't spell Osama but manages to spell Schwarzenegger?

Evergreen wrote on January 3, 2007 10:37 AM:

Oh my...Barack should develope a campaign slogan to play on this. Maybe something like: Let's not beat around the Bush, it takes an Obama to catch an Osama.

...and can spell Krzyzewski? Oh, wait...that's in Sports, where accuracy is important enough to cause correctness to happen.

Isn't CNN the network that had a military psyops unit working with it? It looks like they were well trained.

Obama doesn't stand a chance - its clear the Zionists are working their media voodoo extra hard to make sure everybody knows Obama is a Muslim terrorist. Oops, sorry! Another mistake.

Obama - BAD for ISRAEL.

america is such a great country and has fantastic people. just a pity that so many americans are plain arrogant and have far too much confidence to the point where it makes the rest of us puke.no wonder there is so much hatred for you.it is irrelevant to us who you elect as president.you will remain disliked

Fritz wrote on January 20, 2007 4:05 AM:

In conversation with my father, he readily states that America is not ready for a black president, or such a young president, or a female president (as much as he wished it were not so). I heartily disagreed with him over this, saying that millions of Americans are tired of voting in the old guys who keep screwing the world up.

It would appear those same old guys are using their same old tricks in order to throw us naive young people off the track. Unfortunately, their tactics are lame, lame, lame.

This election, I hope we prevail, and sink this old guy routine real quick.
